'Friend' of the Lap of Tasmania

12-Month Membership Agreement T&Cs

The Lap of Tasmania and its Client (collectively known as ‘The Parties’) agree as follows:


The term of this Agreement shall begin from the day the Lap of Tasmania receives payment for a ‘Friend of the Lap of Tasmania’ membership from the Client, and shall continue for one year, or until terminated by either Party in accordance with this Agreement.


This Agreement may be terminated by the Client upon thirty (30) days prior written notice to the Lap of Tasmania.

Upon termination, Lap of Tasmania will cease promotion of the Client. The Client agrees to honour the Offer (as described below) for 30 days from the provision of the written notice requesting termination of the Agreement, as this provides the Lap of Tasmania time to notify its community members and to update any website information regarding the Offer.


A full refund will be provided to the Client by the Lap of Tasmania for a refund request made within 10 days of payment to the Lap of Tasmania for a ‘Friend of the Lap of Tasmania’ membership.

The Offer

The Client will provide to Lap of Tasmania community members an offer (the Offer), comprising either a monetary discount, or the provision of an item or service at no cost to Lap of Tasmania community members.

A Lap of Tasmania community member can claim the Offer by either mentioning the Lap of Tasmania at the time of booking, or by using the agreed promotional code when making an online booking.

Obligations of Lap of Tasmania

During the term of this Agreement, Lap of Tasmania shall promote the Client and the Offer in the following ways:

  • Social media
    • Publish three (3) posts – one per channel – recommending the Client to Lap of Tasmania community members:
      • Facebook group
      • Facebook Page
      • Instagram
    • Making regular mentions and recommendations of the Client in response to questions from community members.
  • Website (https://lapoftasmania.com)
    • Provide the Client with its own web listing
    • Recommend the Client in at least one relevant article
    • Where appropriate, promote the Client in future articles on the website that relate directly to the product or services offered by the Client
    • Add the Client to the digital map of the Lap of Tasmania

Obligations of the Client

During the term of this Agreement, the Client shall:

  • Nominate to Lap of Tasmania their representative for the management of this Agreement;
  • Provide the Offer to any customer making a purchase, where that purchase includes mention of the Lap of Tasmania, or the use of an agreed promotional code.
  • Allow Lap of Tasmania to promote the Client and the Offer on the Lap of Tasmania website and social channels in the manner described above.
  • Provide notification to Lap of Tasmania as soon as possible if there is a need to permanently change the Offer.
  • Include on the Client’s website at least one ‘do follow’ link to the Lap of Tasmania website.

In the possible event that the Client cannot supply the Offer due to supply or other factors outside their control, the Client can provide an alternative offer of a similar value at their discretion.


Each Party shall indemnify and hold blameless the other Party against any third party claims, demands, suits, damages, losses or expenses, suffered as a result of any breach of this Agreement.


The Parties agree to keep confidential the terms of this Agreement.
